What it does
Every order prints itself
Accept an order on the computer, on your phone or from a staff login, and its kitchen ticket comes out at the counter. Each order prints once.
No print box, ever
Pick your receipt printer once. Tickets go straight to it, sized for 58 mm or 80 mm rolls, with dish names printed exactly as on your menu.
Stays on through service
Close the window and Dato keeps running by the clock, ringing for new orders and printing. It can start with Windows, and it updates itself.
Set up in three steps

Download and open the installer
If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway. It installs in a few seconds and opens by itself.

Sign in
Use the phone number your restaurant is registered with on Dato, the same as on your phone.

Choose your printer
Go to Settings → Kitchen printer, pick your receipt printer from the list and press Print test page.
Which printers work?
Any receipt printer installed in Windows: USB, network or Bluetooth, 58 mm or 80 mm. If yours is not in the list, add it first in Windows Settings → Printers & scanners with the driver that came with it, then press Refresh list in Dato.
